We helped Wealthsimple design a clearer and more approachable crypto experience, supporting everyday investing while keeping the product familiar, trustworthy, and easy to use.

Crypto platforms can feel complicated, technical, and risky—especially for new investors. The challenge was to introduce crypto features without increasing cognitive load or disrupting Wealthsimple’s existing experience.

We studied competitor experiences, mapped important user journeys, and worked within Wealthsimple’s existing design system.

The experience was developed across two phases, starting with essential crypto features and then exploring a more advanced standalone wallet.
